Jayne Erickson Named
2005 South Dakota Photographer of the Year
by Professional Photographers of America

Jayne recently won presitigious awards at the regional conference in Fargo, North Dakota on Febuary 20th, 2005. She won the top illustrative print for her image "Hear My Prayer". She also received a Kodak Gallery Award for "Hear My Prayer" and the Nonmasters Sweepstakes Award for total cumulative points on four images.

The South Dakota Chapter of Professional Photographers of America had their annual convention on March 6 thru the 8th in Sioux Falls. At the awards banquet Jayne received top portrait nonmaster for "Some like it Hot", Top Illustrative nonmaster for "Hear My Prayer", Kodak Gallery Award Portrait "Some Like It Hot", Fuji Masterpiece Portrait for "Etched By Time" and Fuji Masterpiece IIllustrative for "Hear My Prayer". For the third year in a row Jayne was named the South Dakota Photographer of the Year.
